Overview

Shipment Reports help you track delivery activity and analyze shipping performance. The module includes summary-level shipment reports and detail-level shipment item reports, both supporting date range filtering and flexible grouping options.

Shipments Report

Summary of shipments with dates, customers, and RGA status.

Shipment Items Report

Detail of shipped parts, quantities, and amounts per shipment.

Delivery Tracking

Compare ship dates against due dates for on-time analysis.

RGA Analysis

Identify and analyze return goods authorization shipments.

Shipments Report

The Shipments Report provides a summary view of all shipments within a specified date range.

Report Columns

Column Description

Available Groupings

Click the "Groupings" button in the toolbar to organize data by:

  • Customers: Group shipments by customer
  • Order Dates: Group by the original order date
  • Customer Locations: Group by ship-to location
  • Due Dates: Group by delivery due date

Shipment Items Report

The Shipment Items Report provides line-level detail for all shipments within the selected date range.

Key Information

  • Part numbers and descriptions for each shipped item
  • Shipped quantities and units of measure
  • Unit pricing and extended totals
  • Customer and location context for each item

Use Cases

  • Volume Analysis: Identify which parts are shipped most frequently
  • On-Time Delivery: Compare ship dates against due dates to measure performance
  • RGA Tracking: Filter for RGA shipments to analyze return patterns

Running a Report

  1. Navigate to the Reports section
  2. Select Shipments Report or Shipment Items Report
  3. Set the date range using the From and To date fields
  4. Click "Run" to generate the report
  5. Use "Groupings" to organize the results
Tip: Compare ship dates against due dates to measure on-time delivery performance. Late shipments will have a ship date after the due date.

  • Delivery Performance: Track on-time delivery rates by comparing ship dates to due dates
  • RGA Monitoring: Review RGA shipments regularly to identify quality or fulfillment issues
  • Customer Grouping: Group by customer to understand shipping volume distribution
  • Location Analysis: Group by customer location to optimize shipping routes and methods
