Overview

Invoice Reports provide visibility into your billing activity and revenue. The module includes summary-level invoice reports and detail-level invoice item reports. Both support date range filtering and flexible grouping options.

Invoices Report

Summary of invoices with totals, dates, and customer details.

Invoice Items Report

Line-level detail of invoiced parts, quantities, and amounts.

Date Range Filtering

Filter reports to specific time periods for focused analysis.

Flexible Groupings

Organize data by customer, date, location, or due date.

Invoices Report

The Invoices Report provides a summary of all invoices within a specified date range.

Report Columns

Available Groupings

Click the "Groupings" button in the toolbar to organize data by:

  • Customers: Group invoices by customer
  • Order Dates: Group by the original order date
  • Customer Locations: Group by ship-to location
  • Due Dates: Group by payment due date

Invoice Items Report

The Invoice Items Report provides line-level detail for all invoices within the selected date range.

Key Information

  • Individual part numbers and descriptions for each invoice line
  • Quantities invoiced and unit pricing
  • Extended totals per line item
  • GL account assignments for revenue tracking

Use Cases

  • Revenue Analysis: Break down revenue by part, customer, or time period
  • Pricing Review: Compare actual invoiced prices against list prices
  • Accounting Reconciliation: Verify GL account assignments across invoices

Running a Report

  1. Navigate to the Reports section
  2. Select Invoices Report or Invoice Items Report
  3. Set the date range using the From and To date fields
  4. Click "Run" to generate the report
  5. Use "Groupings" to organize the results
Tip: Group invoices by due date to quickly identify upcoming payment deadlines and manage accounts receivable.
