Upload, Re-upload, or Remove

The table lists each guide file with its upload status and File ID. Click Upload the first time. Click Re-upload any time the guide content changes, or Remove to delete all uploaded guide files from your Anthropic account.

Using Existing Files

If the Backbone MRP user guide has already been uploaded to Anthropic by another account sharing the same Anthropic API key, you can include those files in this account's AI assistant context without re-uploading.

1. Click Browse all files in your Anthropic account at the bottom of the page.
2. Locate the existing user guide files in the table.
3. Click Include on each file. It is immediately added to the AI assistant context and shown with an Included badge.

Adding Your Own Documents

You can extend the AI assistant beyond the Backbone MRP user guide by uploading your own internal documents — process guides, part specifications, customer notes, or any other text that describes your company's business logic. The assistant will send those documents to Claude alongside the user guide and mesh your internal knowledge with application knowledge when answering questions.

1. Click Browse all files in your Anthropic account at the bottom of the page.
2. Use the Upload File section to upload your document.
3. Click Include on the newly uploaded file. It is immediately added to the AI assistant context and shown with an Included badge.
