Anthropic File Browser

Lists every file stored in your company's Anthropic account.

Upload a File

Choose a file (plain text, HTML, PDF, or another format accepted by the Anthropic Files API) and click Upload.

Files Table

Each row shows a file's name, ID, and size, plus its User Guide status:

  • Auto — automatically included because it was uploaded from the User Guide page.
  • Included — manually added as context here; click Exclude to remove it.
  • Customer List — the customer/ship-location reference deployed on the Customer/Ship-Location Matching page, used by AI order matching. It is managed on that page (not here) and is protected from Remove Unused.
  • No badge — click Include to add the file as assistant context.

Select one or more files with the checkboxes and click Delete Selected to permanently remove them from your Anthropic account.

Click Remove Unused to delete, in one step, every file that nothing references — that is, files with no badge. Files marked Auto, Included, or Customer List are always kept. The button label shows how many files qualify, and a running count is displayed while it works.

Tip: Files marked Auto or Included are sent to Claude whenever a user asks the Backbone AI assistant a question. The Customer List file is consulted separately when the AI matches an uploaded order to a customer.
