Settings
The Settings drop-down menu in the workbench toolbar holds the reference lists and configuration a company sets up once and reuses across its orders, shipments, and invoices. The menu items are described below.
Accounts
Opens the Accounts list — the company's chart of accounts — used to categorize financial activity and to map data to QuickBooks Online.
Terms
Opens the Order Terms list, where payment terms such as Net 30 are defined and, optionally, linked to QuickBooks Online.
Ship Vias
Opens the Ship Vias list, where shipping methods (carriers or services) are defined for use on shipments.
FOBs
Opens the FOBs list, where Freight On Board options (such as Origin or Destination) are defined for use on orders.
Exchange Rates
Opens the Exchange Rates list, used to convert amounts between currencies for international business.
QB Settings
Opens the QuickBooks Settings dialog. The main option here is Connect to a sandbox account, which lets users test the QuickBooks integration against a QuickBooks Online Sandbox company instead of a live company. When checked, the next QuickBooks connection is made to the sandbox account.
